Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health Insurance Employer 401(k) options Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to): Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and sterilize all instruments before surgery. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assist with various tasks. Count and manage sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures. Help position and drape patients appropriately for surgery. Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) upon hire and maintained. Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties Graduation from an ORT training program within 6 months of hire or on-the-job training with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting
