Overview;
We are looking for a Cloud Architect to design and build the cloud computing architecture, modernize the existing legacy applications and platforms to migrate them into cloud. The ideal candidate will show interest in mastering the latest technologies and must exercise responsibility towards both project and Team. The candidate must have strong analytical skills and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Key Accountability;
• Responsible for architecting Enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS technologies (App Service, Logic Apps, Functions, etc.) and databases on Azure
• Responsible for physical infrastructure and its design principles. Should be able to contribute to Infra related discussions of Azure (IaaS).
• Translating project-specific needs into a cloud structure that will suit those needs and considering the project needs in terms of resource usage and scalability.
• Designing the cloud environment from a holistic point of view, ensuring it meets all of the company's requirements.
• Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure.
• Overseeing cloud security.
• Completing the integration of new applications into the cloud environment.
• Offering training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud structure.
• Working with business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.
• Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.
• Working with virtualization technologies to achieve effective server management for the business
• Consistently develops and delivers high-quality services to our clients
• Assume ownership and accountable for entire cloud program delivery operating in onshore and offshore model.
• Contribute and participate in weekly status both internal and external.
• Work collaboratively with service delivery lead and other team members to deliver on client commitments
Key Competencies:
• Worked on multiple Azure cloud assessments and related tools for application migration
• Hands on experience with Scripting languages like PowerShell
• Strong understanding and hands on experience with WCF, .NET 4.0, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ and Azure SDK. Experience in AKS, Dockers etc.
• Experience in Azure Backup and Disaster recovery.
• Relevant experience in Terraform, Helm, Chef etc. (Optional)
• Understanding and experience with API frameworks.
• Microservices exposure is required.
• Deep experience with design patterns, UML modelling, reusable component development
• Experience with software engineering best-practices such as build automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Experience with formal delivery methodologies such RUP, Agile, Scrum, etc.
• Capable to create innovative solutions and accelerators utilizing the cloud principles
• Should have experience in creating and delivering end to end solutions on cloud technologies
• 8 - 12 Years' experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies
• UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Cloud certifications are preffered
