Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business operations and customer needs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
- Integrate software components and third-party APIs.
- Assist in software architecture and system design discussions.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or C++.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of web development frameworks and modern front-end technologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure coding standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a computer workstation for required time periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through written correspondence.
