As a Culinary Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our maritime operations by delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our crew. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertly prepare and serve three satisfying, nutritious, and well-balanced meals daily to a crew of 8-10 team members
• Ensure pristine maintenance of the galley, dining room, and all associated equipment to the highest sanitary standards
• Consistently deliver safe and efficient operations by adhering to Ingram's comprehensive safety standards
• Provide nourishing and satisfying meals and snacks that exceed crew expectations
• Implement excellent inventory management and ordering procedures to optimize resources
• Prepare and store all foods in full compliance with sanitary food handling best practices
• Foster an energetic, professional, and positive atmosphere throughout the galley

• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Possess or be willing to obtain a ServSafe certification
• Must be able to obtain required Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card by time of interview. Need a TWIC card?  Apply here .
• Pass a post-offer process if an offer is made (background check, drug screen, physical)
• Have previous culinary or dietary work experience
• Be able to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds
• Be able to climb ladders, as well as be able to board and ride in a skiff to reach assigned vessel
• Have sufficient reasoning and mathematical abilities
• Be able to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
• Have adequate computer skills to utilize email, vendor ordering and other programs
• Must be able to read and write the English language in order to comply with USCG regulatory requirements
• Demonstration of the Ingram Way
• Ability to uphold Ingram’s high safety standards
• Ability to work away from home for extended periods (21 or 28 day hitches)
• Ability to prepare a variety of meals – heavy repetition of meals should be avoided
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork and acceptance of diversity
• Ability to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
• Ability to respond quickly in an unexpected circumstance
• Demonstration of critical thinking and decision making skills
• Strong communication skills with all levels within the organization

Must have Culinary/Cooking Experience!!!

Must obtain a Drivers License!!!
