Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing patient care assignments in accordance with physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures
• Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families across inpatient medical/surgical settings
• Adhere to hospital policies and established guidelines throughout all aspects of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license to practice in any U.S. state, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification required within six months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within six months of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a referral center or facility serving diverse and underserved patient populations
• Familiarity with a broad range of inpatient and outpatient service lines including emergency, surgical, and specialty care
