Assistant Plant Manager - Production Manager
FPC of Wake Forest
FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate an Assistant Plant Manager (Production Manager) for a great client. This rapidly growing company is well-known for the design and fabrication of high-quality products.
So, what will you be doing as Assistant Plant Manager (Production Manager)?
-Support and drive daily production schedules focused on meeting on-time delivery metrics
-Identify production bottlenecks and implement processes to remove
-Reinforce quality standards and ensure adherence to requirements
-Promote and enforce safe working practices, and adherence to OSHA standards
-Participate in workflow improvements, equipment optimization, and shift expansion planning
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or another related field
-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
-5+ years of leadership/managerial experience
-Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
-Proven ability to improve process efficiency
Things considered a plus:
-Experience in a metal fabrication/assembly environment
-NetSuite
-Experience working with a unionized environment
-Six Sigma certification
