Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis

Registered Nurse – Hemodialysis

Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts, 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Holiday rotation and occasional weekends.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32

Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 9 months clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 months of specialized experience in dialysis care (can be completed during orientation).
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess hemodialysis patients to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
• Manage rapidly changing patient situations and delegate care as necessary.
• Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after hemodialysis care.
• Obtain lab specimens and perform lab competencies and quality controls regularly.
• Educate patients and family members regarding disease processes and care needs.
