Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220 Specialty: PCU / Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit Setting: Short-term acute care, Level II trauma environment Location: Spokane, Washington (99204) — a welcoming community with easy access to outdoor recreation, scenic riverfront areas, and a vibrant local culture Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Shifts Per Week: 3 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Hours Per Week: 36 Charting System: Epic Patient Ratio: 1:4-5 Float Requirement: May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units when needed Job Requirements At least 1 year of PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or similar acute care nursing experience required Must be able to manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic experience required Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management preferred Ability to work with adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity hospital setting Must be comfortable with occasional floating between PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units Must be available to work a schedule that includes holidays and every-other-weekend coverage Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care for PCU and stepdown patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs Monitor, titrate, and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips per unit standards Assess patients with conditions such as CHF, Afib with RVR, chest pain, and post-cardiac procedures Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Administer medications, monitor treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe outcomes Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication across disciplines Support patients and families while promoting a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment Adapt to float assignments as needed to support hospital unit coverage Apply now for this rewarding travel RN job in Spokane, WA and bring your PCU nursing expertise to a high-acuity healthcare team.
