Lead Carpenter/Remodeler needed for a kitchen and bath remodeling business in Lexington, VA. This role oversees kitchen and bathroom remodels, typically working independently or leading one helper. The position includes daily homeowner communication, final walkthroughs, and punch-list completion. Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. The company provides a vehicle, tools, uniforms, paid time off, and paid holidays. Compensation is $25–$31 per hour.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects independently or with one helper.
• Perform demolition and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
• Communicate with homeowners daily regarding project progress.
• Conduct final walkthroughs and complete punch-list items.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address job-site challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of residential remodeling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with finish carpentry, cabinet installation, framing, drywall, and flooring.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and self-management skills.
