This full-time, on-site opportunity offers a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist. You’ll play a vital role supporting students from early childhood through transition ages, providing your expertise where it matters most.
Your schedule will follow the school day, with elementary hours from 8:00am to 3:30pm and secondary from 7:00am to 2:30pm, making it easy to plan for work-life balance. The position runs from August 20th through June 4, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build strong, lasting relationships within the school community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist license or eligibility in Ohio
- Experience with PreK-12th grade student populations
- Strong ability to manage a caseload up to 125 school-age or 75 preschool students, or a combination within those ratios
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Collaborative spirit and a commitment to fostering student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
- Provide counseling and intervention support for individual students and groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational strategies
- Contribute to eligibility determination meetings and help shape individualized educational plans
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
