The Forklift Operator will be responsible for driving a forklift, bringing cores to the machines, as well as other duties to support day-to-day production activity.

This position is on 3rd Shift. What You'll Do:

• Operate power forklift to transport materials, distribute and organize castings, patterns, cores, etc. in assigned areas, as necessary.
• Examine gauges as appropriate to make sure truck is operating properly.
• Report any truck problems to supervisor.
• Perform daily fork truck condition audit by completing the daily fork truck check sheets and forward them to supervisor.
• Ensure that the product is being packed into proper shipping containers.
• Complete inventory tickets and routing forms as required.
• Itemize data and input into inventory database, as necessary.
• Utilize delay time constructively by doing housekeeping or other area improvement activities.

What We Need From You:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, manufacturing or foundry experience required
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
