We own and provide the vehicle and pay for maintenance and fuel.Employment Requirements:At least 18 years of agePass a company sponsored drug screen, physical exam, and physical duties assessmentPass a company sponsored Criminal Background Checks, which includes fingerprintingPass First Aid and CPR CertificationEssential Job Functions:Comply with company operating procedures relating to Aide safety and trainingSafely load, unload and secure passengersPushing and maneuvering wheelchairs on and off the vehicleFollows mandated child restraint device procedures as applicable, ensuring passengers are properly positioned and restrained (Car seats, boosters, seat belts)Positions self on van in a location which allows for observation and assistance to all studentsEnsures the safety and well-being of passengers being transported to and from various locationsAssures that no passenger is left unsupervised on a vehicleAssists in maintaining the interior cleanliness of the vehicleIn the event of an accident or emergency, facilitates the safe evacuation of passengersAssists the driver when backing the vehicleBe familiar with all aspects of the assigned route and assist substitute drivers with the routeMaintain appropriate communication and interaction with internal and external contactsComply with company guidelinesPerform all job functions in a professional and reliable mannerPerform additional duties and responsibilities as requestedA Few Details of The Job:Enjoy working with children of all agesProvide a valuable service to the communityFlexible schedulesNo weekends, evenings, or major holidaysAverage 3-6 students per vehiclePaid trainingWeekly pay$16.50 per hourOpportunities for sign-on and employee referral bonusesBenefits Offered:VisionDentalLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program401KDemands of the Job:Able to work in all types of conditions i.e., day, darkness, rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.Works alone, with, and around others.Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, walking up and down stairs.Hearing, listening, seeing, and speaking clearly.Use hands, fingers, and feet.Reading and writing.Analyzing, problem solving, using good judgement and decision-making. #J-18808-Ljbffr Assisted Student Transportation
