Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct initial assessments to understand the unique background and needs of each client, ensuring a comprehensive understanding that informs subsequent therapy.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific issues faced by clients, using evidence-based practices tailored to their situations.

  • Provide engaging and effective individual, couple, and family therapy by employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

  • Collaborate actively with fellow clinicians, including psychologists and licensed clinical social workers, to coordinate multi-disciplinary care and share best practices for client treatment.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment strategies, and other necessary records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and training sessions to enhance skills and stay informed about new research and developments in family therapy practices.

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and the highest standards of confidentiality, ensuring clients feel safe and secure in their therapeutic environment.

Your work will focus on supporting a diverse clientele, including individuals facing relational challenges, families navigating transitions, and couples seeking to improve their interpersonal dynamics. The inclusive nature of our practice allows therapists to engage with a variety of backgrounds and issues, enhancing the therapeutic experience for both client and therapist.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • A valid LMFT license in New York State is required.

  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly in the areas of marriage and family therapy or related mental health fields.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of solution-based interventions and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities vital for effective client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is one year, we encourage candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as substance abuse therapy or trauma-informed care to apply, as these skills can greatly enhance our therapeutic offerings. Experience working within diverse communities and possessing cultural competency is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position is competitive, offering a salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.
