We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in detecting, investigating, and preventing cyber threats, ensuring our systems and those of our clients remain secure. Key Responsibilities: Monitor network activity to identify potential security breaches or threats. Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift mitigation and resolution. Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend improvements to enhance security posture. Analyze security alerts and logs from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement and maintain security tools and technologies. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. Perform regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and techniques to proactively protect assets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles. Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security). Proficiency in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration testing. Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent. Experience with cloud security in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in cybersecurity is a plus. Why Join GhangorCloud?
