About the Role
The Company is seeking an MD for Customer Propositions and Strategy within its Business and Commercial Banking division. This pivotal role is at the forefront of the company's digital transformation, with a focus on enhancing customer relationships and driving strategic initiatives in areas such as sector and segmentation, customer experience, and social sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 50 professionals, setting a clear and motivating vision, and ensuring high performance through effective coaching and support. Key accountabilities include leading the development of customer-focused, commercially driven propositions, overseeing the customer experience program, and leading the social sustainability agenda to improve access to finance for underrepresented groups. Candidates for this role at the company should possess a strong background in strategic planning, customer and market analysis, and commercial acumen. The role requires the ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, solve complex problems, and manage risk effectively. Experience in the business and commercial banking industry, particularly in the areas of sector and segmentation, is highly beneficial.
