Patient Care Technician – Flex Team Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN – Part Time Benefit Eligible (3a-330p, Days). 24 hours per week. Overview Join Parkview Health as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). This role supports Med Surg units and Inpatient Rehab by floating to various teams. It is an excellent stepping‑stone for nursing students, offering a 0.3 FTE schedule (12 hours per week) and comprehensive training. As a PCT you will work alongside experienced nurses in a supportive, team‑oriented environment that values growth and collaboration. Responsibilities Deliver basic patient care that meets individual needs. Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, and other delegated tasks. Ensure quality care and service excellence while adhering to Parkview’s Standards of Behavior. Qualifications Completed high school diploma or GED required. Ability to multi‑task, use critical thinking, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to attend mandatory training days during the week of start (New Hire Orientation Monday – all day; Patient Care Essentials/Epic Tuesday‑Thursday – all day).
