About The Role The Deposit Operations Specialist will perform a variety of clerical duties related to Deposit Services. This position provides a wide range of support to Deposit Services Managers and all other bank departments and locations. Duties And Responsibilities Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner. Respond to inquiries and questions from internal and external customers. Balance report totals to general ledger totals daily, locating and correcting errors. Assist with reviewing, processing, and performing daily operational duties. Review and analyze items utilizing fraud software. Assist with debit card fraud review and analyze patterns for fraud prevention. Accept and make account transfers for customers via telephone. Assist with processing daily wires. Assist customers with debit card questions. Must be willing to do repetitive work. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, department procedures and policies, and regulations to ensure accurate handling of customer inquiries. Comply with compliance and privacy policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and information protection. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures. Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned. Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to handle high pressure situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good analytical skills with ability to problem solve with excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Address: 101 W Arkansas St Mount Pleasant, Texas 75455 Education, Experience, & Licenses High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months customer service experience. Minimum 6 months previous banking or general accounting experience. Minimum 1 year experience with computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
