Inspector - B Shift

Position Summary: The Inspector will inspect fabric for defects, complete inspection log sheet and enter production into computer as needed. This position will also keep and record accurate waste data. Position Responsibilities: Identify and mark defects in fabric. Inform Supervisor/Mechanic of any defects that need to be fixed. Complete Inspector Log Sheet for each machine inspected. Enter production in computer as needed. Record waste on waste sheet as needed. Inspect sample rolls as required and enter data into computer. Must be able to perform a minimum of 144 machine inspections in a 12 hour shift. Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions. Keep work area neat and clean. Perform other duties as assigned. Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience: Associate must possess excellent vision with focus on detail. Must have simple math skills. Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
