Acts as a resource for employees and managers to address concerns, mediate conflicts, conduct investigations, and foster a supportive work environment. Partners closely with warehouse leadership to support performance management efforts, including coaching, employee development, and disciplinary actions. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations, proactively addressing concerns and guiding leaders on best practices. Maintains accurate, up‑to‑date employee records in compliance with legal and company standards. Manages employee leave administration, including FMLA, personal, medical, and other company leaves. Serves as backup support for payroll, ensuring accuracy and continuity in processing. Assists with various HR projects and works closely with the HR team to support key initiatives. Collaborates with the Director of HR and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Manages the full‑cycle recruitment process in the ATS, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Establishes and maintains recruitment metrics to track effectiveness of hiring strategies. Qualifications Effectively communicate clearly and listen actively, both verbally and in writing. Build positive relationships with employees and candidates. Collaborate and work across teams to achieve common goals. Respond in a timely manner to employees and leadership communication. Adaptable to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of federal and IL state employment regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; Paycom knowledge a plus. Experience with Canva and HubSpot is preferred. Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an associate degree required. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in HR.
