About the Position

Job Title: CVICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - PA catheter interpretation and analysis required - Open heart recovery direct from operating room strongly preferred - LVAD/RVAD/Impella, IABP experience required - CRRT with Prismaflex, and ECMO experience preferred - Bedside Trachs and PEGs experience required - Hemodynamic monitoring, including PA catheters required Description: This position requires a registered nurse with a specialty in CVICU. The nurse will work night shifts, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse's patient ratio will be 1:2. The role involves providing care for diverse patient populations in critical need. The nurse will be expected to float within the ICU community to meet facility needs. Weekend shifts will be required, working every other weekend. The nurse should have experience managing complex medical equipment and high-acuity patients. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret complex data. This role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care. Travel experience is required for this position. The nurse should be familiar with various monitoring systems, including hemodynamic monitoring. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.
