Registered Nurse - L&D
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts with 24–36 hours weekly guaranteed. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment. Responsibilities include maternal-fetal monitoring, high-risk labor support, antepartum care, delivery assistance, newborn stabilization, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates must be comfortable caring for neonatal, adolescent, and adult populations while utilizing evidence-based nursing practices and Epic EMR documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- High-Risk Labor & Delivery experience required
- Fetal Monitoring experience required
- Antepartum experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult patient populations required
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required
- NRP Certification required
- Active Minnesota RN License or temporary MN RN license accepted with submission
Required submission documents include: Updated work history Skills checklist (within 1 year) 2 supervisory references with employment dates BLS & NRP certifications All RTO requests submitted upfront
