Business Immigration Paralegal

For nearly 40 years, our firm has represented employers ranging from emerging companies to multinational organizations in navigating complex U.S. immigration matters. This is a full-time position based in our Washington, DC office. We will not consider applicants with less than one year of business immigration experience. Our collaborative environment provides the mentoring, teamwork, and real-time support that help our paralegals develop quickly and provide outstanding service to our clients. What You'll Do Prepare employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions and supporting documentation. Draft immigration forms, support letters, correspondence, and other legal documents. Communicate professionally with corporate representatives, foreign national employees, executives, and attorneys. Monitor case progress, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate case records. Collaborate with attorneys and management to prepare high-quality filings. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining the highest level of client service. Utilize our case management system and technology tools to efficiently manage matters. Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications 1-3 years of employment-based business immigration experience required. Bachelor's degree required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Professional judgment, initiative, and a strong commitment to client service. Comfortable learning new technology and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency. Collaborative, dependable, and committed to continuous professional development. Salary Range: We do not review compensation only on an annual basis: salary is commensurate based upon demonstrated ability and may be adjusted at any time.
