Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) - Med-Surg experience Description: This position requires an immediate start. Candidates must possess an active RN license. Local candidates will not be considered. Candidates with long-term care experience or new graduates will not be considered. This facility is a state-of-the-art, 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The focus is on helping individuals regain independence after an injury or illness. The rehabilitation programs offer ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual needs. Patients include those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The unit features a patient ratio of 5:1 for RN/LPN and 7:1 for CNAs. Experience with EPIC electronic health record is required. Patients primarily consist of adults with some geriatric and rehabilitation patients. The position does not require floating to other units. Candidates must be comfortable with weekend rotations, occurring every other week. Candidates should report in scrubs of any color. Upon arrival, ask for the Nurse Manager.
