Business Project Manager

Overview The Business Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful execution of initiatives within the Risk Management function. This individual will lead cross-functional projects, and manage program-level workstreams. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and an understanding of risk or governance processes within a regulated or operationally complex environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of business-driven projects
- Develop detailed project plans, manage milestones, monitor progress, and report on outcomes.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings: prepare agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and track action items.
- Identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks across project lifecycles.
- Support the development of internal communications, status updates, and stakeholder engagement materials.
- Collaborate with functional leads (e.g., IT, Legal, Ops) to align project goals with business objectives and risk priorities.
- Develop clear and concise reporting for senior leadership and risk committees.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, business coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior-level participants.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PM tools and technologies (e.g., Jira, Python, SQL)
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with minimal supervision.
