Mortgage Loan Officer

Role Overview Responsible for soliciting and servicing residential mortgage loans, interviewing applicants, collecting financial data, and recommending suitable loan products. Assists clients through the purchase process until closing, building strong relationships and engaging with the community to foster business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain client relationships, providing guidance on mortgage options. Conduct interviews, gather documentation, and analyze financial information. Make external and internal sales calls to generate business. Ensure compliance with regulatory, secondary market, and bank policies. Support clients through the home buying process until closing. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; some college preferred. At least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education. Knowledge of real estate loan documentation and lending regulations preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills. Compliance with S.A.F.E.
