Employee Mission – Procurement and Logistic Manager The Procurement & Logistics Manager leads and optimizes procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance to ensure the cost‑effective and timely flow of materials throughout the organization. This role maintains optimal inventory levels, improves operational efficiency, and supports uninterrupted operations while consistently meeting business and customer requirements. As a leader in operational excellence, this role aligns procurement and logistics activities with business objectives. The Procurement & Logistics Manager drives supplier performance, cost reduction, transportation optimization, and continuous improvement while collaborating cross‑functionally to enhance service levels, mitigate supply risks, and support long‑term business growth. Organizational Development – 20% Lead the Procurement and Logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Develop high‑performing talent by setting clear expectations, building capabilities, and strengthening collaboration to support long‑term operational effectiveness. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Product Development) to improve processes, supplier engagement, forecasting, and integrated planning aligned with strategic and sustainability goals. Procurement Excellence – 60% Drive supplier and internal customer service excellence by ensuring reliable raw material availability, accurate demand inputs, and proactive issue resolution. Deliver annual cost savings greater than $500K through sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and continuous cost optimization initiatives. Lead procurement and raw material inventory management across sites to support cost, quality, and service objectives while ensuring supply continuity. Optimize raw material inventory investment by balancing service requirements with working capital efficiency and minimizing carrying costs. Enhance supplier performance through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, and ongoing evaluation to ensure reliable, high‑quality supply at optimal cost. Maintain raw material inventory accuracy and working capital targets through effective safety stock strategies, lead‑time optimization, and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes through automation, system enhancements, and supplier collaboration to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and savings. Logistics Management – 20% Manage inbound and outbound transportation to ensure reliable, on‑time material flow and efficient logistics execution. Optimize freight spend through mode selection, route optimization, load consolidation, and network efficiency to support procurement cost savings goals. Lead carrier sourcing, contracting, performance management, and compliance across transportation networks. Manage and track transportation KPIs (cost, on‑time performance, carrier performance, and damage rates) to drive visibility and continuous improvement. Support data‑driven decision‑making and potential Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation to improve efficiency, reporting, and freight optimization. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience and/or professional certifications. 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, and logistics within a manufacturing environment. Solid expertise in raw materials procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and inbound/outbound transportation. Demonstrated success driving cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and supply chain efficiency. Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supply chain risk management. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred; SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to lead or influence cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities to deliver results. Exposure to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and supply chain analytics tools preferred. Willingness to travel up to Strategic thinking with results‑driven execution. Strong communication and leadership. Data‑driven decision‑making and performance management. Supplier, partner, and stakeholder management. Continuous improvement and operational excellence mindset.
