Texas Licensed Claims Adjuster

Supporting the SPG Cargo & Logistics Claims & Recoveries Department, the full-time remote Transportation & Logistics Claims Specialist / Developing Adjuster will assist in handling, investigating, and resolving various transportation and logistics claims while working towards obtaining a Texas Licensed Claims Adjuster certification. Key Responsibilities Assist with the handling and development of Transportation & Logistics claims, including broker and carrier liability, cargo loss, and service-related claims Gather, review, and organize key claim materials and support initial investigations by identifying involved parties and potential liability issues Prepare claim summaries and assist with reserve recommendations, settlement evaluations, and claim strategy under the supervision of a licensed adjuster Required Qualifications Must obtain a Texas adjuster license within six months of hire 5-7 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or freight claims Strong background in carrier compliance, risk management, and brokerage operations preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders
