This internship is an opportunity for the service member to gain a full understanding of the job position outlined below.To be eligible for DoW SkillBridge job opportunities you must be an active member of the U.S. military with 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of separation and have at least 180 continuous days of active service.Essential FunctionsAdvises management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.Work consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems.Identifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area.Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.QualificationsRequires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft and components maintenance manualsPreferred Additional SkillsProficient in MS Office ApplicationsStrong communication skillsSAP experience, with knowledge of PDM and/or HDL and planning processesL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
