Job Type: Full TimeWhat You'll DoReceivingReads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Marks materials with identifying information.Opens bales, crates, and other containers.Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.Uses computer to enter records.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.Put AwaySorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.Sorts and stores stocked goods in warehouse.Marks materials with identifying information.Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.PickingFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.PackingReads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Verifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked.Confirm tickets.Uses computer to enter records.LoadingConsolidates freight for shipping.Loads trucks for delivery to customers.RoutingFacilitates and distributes shipping ticketsVerifies shipping methodManages delayed release ticketsCommunicates oversize loads to freight carriersInspects and maintains printing equipmentEnsures shipping routes are maintainedInventory ControlMonitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances promptly.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to management.Pipe YardReceive pipe and conduitPrepare pipe and conduit bundles for shipping ordersWhat You'll BringEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Three months or more related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.Requirements:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, the InternetMinimum two years of forklift/cherry picker experienceBasic safety knowledge (i.e., proper lifting techniques, etc.)Physical Demands:Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy.Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.Occasionally, it may be required to lift items greater than 50 lbs. with assistance.What We Offer YouWe offer great family-friendly benefits to full-time associates:Healthcare plansDental & visionPaid time offPaid parental leave401(k) retirement savings with company matchProfessional and personal development programsTuition reimbursementOpportunity to become a shareholderEmployer-paid short- and long-term disabilityEmployer-paid life insurance for spouse and dependentsRobust wellness programGym reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)We're proud to be a military-friendly company, and our many employee resource groups (ERGs) help you make connections and feel supported.
