Tax Preparer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our CPA firm. The role involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, including S Corporations, C Corporations, and LLCs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting clients with tax-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns (individuals, partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and LLCs)
• Analyze financial records and identify tax-saving opportunities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws
• Communicate with clients to gather required information
• Assist with tax planning and projections
• Respond to IRS and state notices as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of tax preparation experience in a CPA firm
• Experience preparing returns for S Corporations, C Corporations, and LLCs
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte) and QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
