Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
Active Iowa COTA license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred. (Preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
Demonstrated experience with ADL retraining and durable medical equipment (DME) assessment preferred.
Ability to provide coverage on short notice for emergency staffing needs for a minimum six-week period.
Patient care task (PCT) requirement: able to perform duties at the 85% PCT level as defined by the client.
