Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Experienced ER RN needed for night shifts working 3x12s from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. at an acute care hospital. The role involves providing critical emergency care, managing patient acuity, and ensuring compliance with all licensing and certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the ER setting.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and document clinical interventions.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and support related units or facilities.
• Ensure all certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS) are current and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely patient care.
• Complete Epic documentation accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of ER experience with current emergency room skills.
• Possess an active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting systems.
• Maintain all required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Be flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and floating within scope.
• Show excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
