CNC Supervisor

Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00672 Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

This full-time, permanent role oversees CNC machining, grinding, and assembly operations, ensuring high quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct, train, evaluate, and mentor manufacturing staff while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Plan workflows, adjust schedules, maintain inventory levels, and assign daily tasks to balance quality, productivity, cost, and delivery deadlines.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage employee relations, and enforce company policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Act as a hands-on technical resource to resolve daily production challenges, perform root-cause analysis, and conduct accident investigations when necessary.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, oversee shop-floor safety and housekeeping, and monitor departmental metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a CNC machining environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or technical degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven track record of managing teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Strong proficiency with manufacturing software/systems, analytical problem-solving skills, and basic familiarity with using financial statements as a management tool.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
