How you will contribute A Patient Access Representative who excels in this role: Verifies insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtains insurance authorizations when necessary. Collects deposits, co-pays, and deductibles. Educates patients and families regarding patient rights, advanced directives, and distributes patient guides. Communicates professionally in-person and by phone; provides clear instructions and excellent customer service. Computer proficiency required. Medical terminology experience preferred. Billing and/or collection experience preferred. Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.
