The Occupational Therapist conducts evaluations and plans and administers occupational therapy and treatment to physically and/or mentally disabled clients; provides treatment recommendations to achieve maximum functioning level.

The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill full-time regular, part-time, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur or the need arises.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree is required from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy. No experience required.

Licensing, Certification and Registration Requirements:

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist with the State of California.
• Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's license is required.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy, AND a valid license as an Occupational Therapist with the State of California are required for this position. Veterans Preference Points:

To be eligible, applicant must have served at least 181 consecutive days of active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States and have received either an honorable discharge or a general discharge under honorable conditions. A COPY OF THE DD 214, SHOWING DISCHARGE TYPE (GENERALLY COPY 4), MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT BY THE APPLICATION REVIEW DEADLINE.
