Job Description

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a strong background in direct open-heart recovery, along with experience using advanced cardiac devices such as Impella and Balloon pumps.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care during the recovery phase of open-heart surgeries.
• Monitor patients utilizing advanced cardiac support devices, including Impella and Balloon pumps.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all departmental guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float assignments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU setting.
• Proficiency in the management of patients post-open-heart surgery.
• Experience with Impella and Balloon pump devices is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergencies.
