Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting, ensuring prompt and effective treatment of acute conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and continuously evaluate patient responses to treatments.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience working in an emergency room or acute care environment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations and multitask effectively.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
