Quality Assurance Tester

Network Hardware Quality Assurance TesterResponsibilities to include but not be limited to the following:Design, develop and execute test plans for networking equipment, features, and systemsTesting would include: new hardware (i.e. Cisco, Juniper, etc), hardware and network features (routing and switching protocols), known bugs and fixes, uncover new issues, and firmware updatesTesting lifecycle would include: understanding new business requests and requirements, define use cases, document test scenarios, create a test plan, execute tests, and report results test execution and report resultsLab Setup would include: deploying infrastructure, work with cross functional partners for hardware installation and end customer device setup in order to test end to endDocumentation: Create and maintain documentation including network diagrams, device configurations, along with testing required documentationRelease management: Manage the timelines and calendar for test phases and deployments, align with vendor release schedule for service releasesReport: Share release plans, dates, duration, test execution plans and statusCreate Wikis (i.e with GenAI) documenting roadmaps, release planning and test results, possibly with corresponding vendorsRecommended Qualifications:Experience with Network Engineering Quality Assurance TestingAbility to troubleshoot IP networks, familiarity with routers, switches and standard IP protocol analyzersRelease tracking and roadmap feature documentationExperience on testing multi vendor environmentsExcellent communication skills and team work experienceExperience in bug scrub, bug tracking, feature tracking, roadmaps and deployment plansRecommended certifications: CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, JNCIA, CTFLExperience with programming languages, Python specifically
