Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post‑acute cardiology team in the Johnson City, Tennessee area. This full‑time position (5 days a week) offers fee‑for‑service compensation with an estimated range of $135,469 to $160,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. Overview In this role, you will provide high‑quality cardiology consults and follow‑up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team and building meaningful relationships with patients and families. Key Responsibilities Cardiac consulting and follow‑up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities Analyze pathophysiology for cardiovascular disease processes Interpret stress and EKG tests Order and interpret lab results Prescribe and monitor medications Manage patients with cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers Qualifications Current NP or PA Tennessee license and DEA registration Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology as an NP or PA Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with a positive outlook Why Join TeamHealth?
