Lead Software Developer

Providing senior development leadership, the full-time Lead Software Developer will build, maintain, and enhance core application components for federal customers in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities: Lead the development of enterprise applications supporting business operations and API-based integration services Design application enhancements in response to legislative changes and manage code development activities within Agile sprint cycles Collaborate with architects and DevSecOps teams to integrate automated testing and optimize application performance for large-scale transaction processing Required qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role Extensive experience in designing and developing high-volume enterprise applications and RESTful APIs Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience working within Agile development environments and utilizing modern DevSecOps practices
