Position Summary: A healthcare organization is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and bilingual Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and provide high-quality patient care. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach, particularly when working with elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical visits Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, including injections, EKGs, and specimen collection as applicable Assist with room turnover and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers and in accordance with established protocols Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish as needed Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and sound judgment in all interactions Maintain a calm, respectful, and service-oriented approach, particularly when assisting elderly patients or addressing sensitive situations Comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations Job responsibilities may be modified, expanded, reduced, or reassigned at any time based on operational needs and do not limit the duties of this position to those listed above

Qualifications: Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program required Current certification or registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred or required per state regulations Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred Experience working with elderly patients or in a healthcare setting is ideal Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology, and infection control standards Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer applications

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to assist with patient mobility and positioning Manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures Ability to lift and move patients or equipment as needed
