Associate Engineer - Facilities

Catalent

Catalent seeks an Associate Engineer to support equipment lifecycle management at its Madison biologics manufacturing facility. The role involves hands-on installation and maintenance activities, procedure documentation, asset management, and process improvement initiatives within a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on equipment installation, onboarding, calibration, maintenance, and retirement activities
Draft, edit, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and validation documentation
Manage asset induction and retirement requests and coordinate calibration activities
Support change control implementation and troubleshoot equipment failures
Identify and drive equipment lifecycle improvements and process efficiencies

Requirements

Technical or Associate degree in technology or related field with 1–2 years work experience
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering
Previous internship, co-op, or equivalent related work experience
Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and identify potential issues independently
Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
