Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cath Lab. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab nursing.

Shift Details

Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days a week.
Weekend call is required from Friday at 5:30 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM.
On-call duty should be one night per week, and typically every 4-6 weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to hospital policies.
Participate in continuing education and stay current with best practices in Cath Lab nursing.

Qualifications

Must have a current and active RN license in the state of Michigan.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cath Lab setting is mandatory.

Important Policy Information

Please note that there is a strict 3-strike attendance policy in place, effective June 1, 2024. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will face immediate termination. Exceptions will be made for documented circumstances such as communicable diseases or hospitalization.
