Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining procedures with kindness and clarity
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and oversee imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions in a timely manner
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records using our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging and techniques to uphold best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
