H&B is a high-growth commercial cleaning/janitorial services platform Since its recapitalization, the business has grown steadily on both the top and bottom line, with a clear, sponsor-backed runway for continued growth through a mix of organic expansion and an active add-on acquisition strategy.

About the Role

Reporting to and in partnership with Boyne Capital, the CEO will hold full P&L ownership and drive the day-to-day operations and sales/business development agenda, with direct upside through equity ownership. Priorities include building out the sales infrastructure and new commercial logo pipeline, the evaluation and execution of an active add-on acquisition pipeline alongside Boyne's deal team, and the professionalization of field operations to support multi-site scale. This is an opportunity for a high-energy, relationship and culture focused, commercial leader who is both strategic and hands-on with a deep conviction to build a platform of scale.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the PE sponsor, with a direct seat in shaping the platform's direction
• Own the strategic and operational agenda for the business, translating vision into action as you build and execute the platform's growth story
• Build and lead a modern sales engine from the ground up, driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Cultivate relationships directly with key customers, personally opening doors to new partnerships and expanded wallet share
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team and field workforce, building a culture that scales with the business
• Set the operational playbook establishing the best practices and standard operating procedures that will define the platform as it scales
• Support the platform's M&A engine, evaluating add-on acquisition targets and driving integration efforts alongside Boyne's deal team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years leading commercial cleaning/janitorial services business with recurring revenue
• Direct ownership of sales, multi-site/facility operations, labor, and subcontractors
• Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation with sustained, measurable P&L impact in the lower middle market
• Proven record of driving account retention, expansion, and new account acquisition
• Hands-on leader with high EQ who builds culture and can instantly connect with internal and external stakeholders
• Based in Central or Eastern US with ability to travel nationally as needed - up to 50%
• Post M&A integration/consolidation/experience working in a PE sponsored environment
