Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

PACU / Preop / Phase II RNSchedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (variable start times: 07:00–19:00, 08:00–20:00, 09:00–21:00, 10:00–22:00, 11:00–23:00). One call shift per week, with call window from 22:30–07:00. Must be on-site within 30 minutes of call; on-site sleep rooms available.Assignment Details: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks).Requirements:Minimum 1 year RN experience required.Pediatric PACU experience preferred.Must hold valid RN license in the state.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.Charting system: Epic.Responsibilities:Provide care in PACU/phase I & II settings.Assist with preoperative workflows.Manage airway and ventilator support, including IV vasopressors.Administer blood products and perform arterial/central line care.Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.Monitor and manage patients post-surgery, including those under conscious sedation and post-epidural.Compliance / Notes:Orientation: 18 hours. References: 2 covering at least 1 year within last 3 years. Time-off requests must be submitted at the start. Holiday coverage required for 3 of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.Client Details City Anchorage State AK
