Senior Site Director Ottumwa, IA Relocation Assistance Available Position Responsibilities Deliver cost and performance targets; complete projects and assignments on time and according to plan. Develop and execute a capital plan for the department. Drive continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Customer Service, while developing direct reports. Build a Safety‑First culture, develop a highly motivated workforce, and serve as a positive role model of emotional intelligence and servant leadership. Continuously improve site processes and technologies, stay current in new developments, and execute upon a site capital plan. Champion continuous improvement efforts; implement and sustain manufacturing best practices and procedures. Meet or exceed relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., OSHA, ALB, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, FDA). Identify and eliminate potential sources of food‑safety risk; deliver site environmental, health, and safety performance and exceed internal and external audit expectations. Act as liaison between plant personnel and corporate functions, building solid relationships and communicating urgent issues effectively. Develop a highly effective site leadership team, applying high standards for selection and performance, establishing clear goals, and utilizing performance and development tools. Apply Lean, A3, and relevant TPM skill sets; identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and prevent recurring problems. Implement Lean and TPM across all site areas, elevate site performance, and deploy Leader Standard Work to sustain success. Ensure timely execution of the production schedule, meet production and service goals, and maintain inventory management goals. Communicate goals and objectives, apply company policy, coach, administer discipline, and foster positive employee relations; build bench strength through active development of direct reports. Requirements 5+ years manufacturing experience. 2+ years of experience in operations leadership. Ideal Qualifications Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM or other relevant certifications. Background in food and/or beverage manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated work experience in team building and development. Self‑starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
