Summary Software Engineering Manager is a principal-level role responsible for strategic software initiatives and enterprise-level system design. The Software Engineering Manager oversees the development of complex systems and leads enterprise-wide software strategies. The role influences technology decisions and ensures scalability, security, and performance. Define and lead enterprise software architecture. Set technical standards and best practices across teams. Collaborate with executive leadership on digital transformation initiatives. Oversee system integration and data governance. Lead cross-functional teams on strategic projects. Evaluate emerging technologies and guide adoption. Education and Experience Requirements Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of professional experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expert‑level knowledge of software systems and architecture. Proven leadership in enterprise software development. Strategic thinking and business alignment. Strong communication with high-level influence across departments. Requires strategic focus. Extended use of software tools.
