What You'll Do: As a Cost Accountant, you will oversee the financial administration of industrial contracting projects, including project billing, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Your expertise will help ensure accurate job cost management, timely billing, and compliance with contractual requirements, supporting project managers and leadership in making informed financial decisions. From tracking accounts receivable to assisting with project forecasting, your work will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity across multiple projects.

Required Skills: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction or industrial contracting Proficiency with Viewpoint Vista ERP or similar construction-specific financial systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills: Experience with project costing, job billing, and construction financial workflows Knowledge of certified payroll, lien waivers, and project-specific compliance documentation Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience in construction or industrial projects
