This position is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Assembly Supervisor and plays an important part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly duties as directed by the Assembly Supervisor.Follow established procedures to assemble components into complete products and subassemblies.Assemble: Mechanical subassemblies, Electrical subassemblies, Final writer assemblies, Finished product cleaning and packaging, Aftermarket products and accessories.Inspect materials and assemblies for quality and report defects or unusual conditions to the supervisor.Adhere to all quality standards and manufacturing procedures.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Follow all company safety policies and practices.Support additional production and operational activities as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.3 to 7 years of assembly, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Downers Grove, Illinois.Compensation & BenefitsPay: $21.00 per hour Stenograph offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical and dental coverage, Vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Voluntary benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, Paid Time Off (PTO).
